Description
This buff leather belt was used by the cavalry prior and during the Civil War. Would make a great display with a saber. Condition; This is an authentic piece. The leather is very supple and shows little wear for it?s age. The shoulder strap appears to be a replacement but it is of the period. The early M1851 belt buckle has a ? inch casting flaw otherwise in nice condition. Flaw not noticeable from the front. Please see pictures. Shipping $30.00
